Sickness and Capability Issues

Dealing with employees who are off sick long-term or, alternatively, are frequently taking short periods of intermittent sick leave, can be problematic and time consuming for managers.  

Our advice is practical yet sensitive to the situation.  We aim to ensure minimal disruption to the business, maintain the employment relationship where appropriate and, ultimately, to minimise the risk of litigation.
