Originally founded as a high street practice, Veitch Penny moved from its Crediton roots in the 1970s to establish an additional new office in Exeter. Veitch Penny moved into it current location in the heart of the city over 10 years ago and established the purpose built office as their head office. We can be found on the second floor of the 1 Manor Court building.
The Exeter office is able to provide legal advice on a number of complex issues, broadly split into five categories.
- Moving Home - Headed by Charles Dowell, the department handles a large number of property transactions each year and has helped thousands of people move home (sufficiently) quickly and efficiently.
- Personal Injury - Headed by Michael Penny, the department offers individual advice and experience on all Personal Injury matters including, Road Traffic Collisions, Accidents at Work and Accidents in Public Places.
- Making a Will - Headed by Charles Dowell, the department offers a range of services for individuals including Making a Will, Powers of Attorney, Employment and Landlord and Tenant issues and Probate.
- Your Business - The department offers a range of commercial services for businesses and private individuals including advice on Starting up a Business, Company Acquisitions and Sales, Limited Liability Partnerships, Commercial Property, Business Terms and Conditions and Employment Issues.
How to find us
From the M5 : Leave the M5 at Junction 30 and stay in the right lane. Take the 3rd exit marked "Services/Middlemore". At the next roundabout take the 1st left exit to Middlemoor, and at the third roundabout take the 2nd left exit signposted City Centre. You should pass a Texaco garage on the right and drive through a shopping centre. Bear right at a fork at the top of the hill and follow the road until you come to a roundabout and take the 2nd exit signposted "Tourist Information". At the traffic lights turn left into Southernhay and then left again, by the church, into Dix's Field. Manor Court is on your left.

1 Manor court is situated next to the Dix's Field Pay and Display car
park and in very close proximity to the Princesshay Pay and Display car
park.
