Rachel worked as a Paralegal for a Litigation support firm, where she was part of a team that reviewed 10 million documents relating to international tobacco litigation.
2000 - 2002 - Lee Crowder, Birmingham
Working as a Paralegal, Rachel provided legal services to Housing Associations, specialising in anti-social injunctive proceedings, possession proceedings and general litigation matters.
2002 - Present - Veitch Penny Solicitors
Rachel originally joined us as a trainee solicitor in 2002 working alongside the Managing Partner and Head of the Commercial Department, Peter Taylor.
In December 2004 she qualified as a solicitor. She has a keen interest in all commercial matters, and specialises in employment law, commercial law, and commercial conveyancing. Rachel has lectured for local business on topics ranging from working times regulations, equal pay, immigration, TUPE and age discrimination.
Rachel writes a weekly employment case-law update which is submitted to our sister website www.vpinsurance.net, and produces a monthly employment overview which is mailed out to over 500 local employers.
Rachel is a member of the Law Society
Hobbies and Interests:
Rachels hobbies are photography, visiting historical sites and reading.
