Charles was born and raised in Exeter, and his local knowledge is seen as invaluable for his position as head of the Private Client Department in Exeter. As lawyers become more and more specialised, Charles has remained a general practitioner. He can therefore offer the private individual the experience and knowledge to deal with a wide range of areas of practice. He regularly deals with the purchase, management, development and sale of properties both residential and commercial. He deals with the preparation of wills including capital tax planning and the administration of estates, Powers of Attorney and property related court cases. Charles has also dealt with a variety of criminal cases ranging from motoring offences to murder. He also advises on employment matters both the preparation of employment documents as well as handling Employment Tribunal Cases.

Hobbies and Interests:

In his spare time he plays the trombone in local orchestras and enjoys ski-ing and sailing.
