Experience:

Alastair joined Veitch Penny in April 2007 and is a key member of the firm’s Commercial Department.

Alastair has an interest in all Commercial matters and handles a varied caseload that includes advising on companies, partnerships, insolvency, commercial disputes as well as a variety of commercial and residential Conveyancing transactions

Alastair also has particular expertise in debt recovery matters, ranging from the enforcement of cost orders to the recovery of contractual debts. He works closely with a High Court Enforcement Officer to enable the swift recovery of both private and business debts in a cost effective manner. Alastair has recently overseen the firm’s commercial newsletter which covers a number of commercial and contractual matters and provides relevant updates on both cases and new legislation.

Hobbies and Interests

In his spare time, Alastair enjoys squash and golf and occasionally tries to play cricket.
