Experience:

Richard joined Veitch Penny in 2002 and handles a number of high value employer's liability and public liability claims. These include tripping accidents and a number of claims against public health authorities arising from issues such as assaults, manual handling, work equipment and training. Richard is also interested in defending claims brought concerning stress at work.

Richard has also assisted in providing training to clients in areas of law and procedure and has helped the department in compiling a list of medical and non-medical experts.

Richard is the Editor of The Update, our bi-monthly email newsletter, which provides information to clients about the latest legal changes, important decisions, and other news in the Insurance Industry, as well as within the department.

Hobbies and Interests

In his spare time, Richard enjoys playing the piano.
