Experience:

Claire is a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives, qualifying in 1991 whilst working with Stephenson Harwood in the City of London. She specialised in Commercial and Residential Conveyancing for nine years at Stephenson Harwood, and then moved to Gowen & Stevens in South London where she managed her own, mainly residential, caseload for a further two years. In 1997 Claire had a change of career and was employed by Oxford University Press in their Personnel Department, successfully studying for the Certificate of Management from Oxford Brookes University in 2003. Following 2 years working on the Isle of Wight with Eldridges solicitors as a Legal Secretary, Claire moved to Exeter in April and joined Veitch Penny, initially as a Legal Secretary. She has since joined Charles Dowell as part of the Conveyancing team in the busy Exeter office.

Hobbies and Interests:

In her spare time Claire plays the violin with a local symphony orchestra and also enjoys attending concerts and playing in a quartet with friends.
